Junior Achievement Of Central Maryland Adds Paige McFeely As Special Events Manager

Junior Achievement (JA) of Central Maryland, a non-profit organization dedicated to educating young people to succeed in a rapidly changing economy,has added Paige McFeely to the Junior Achievement team as the Special Events Manager.

In this role, McFeely will be responsible for leading, planning and executing all JA-hosted fundraising events. She will create and manage timelines, budgets, event program content and coordinate event logistics. Additionally, she will also be charged with tracking event revenue, budgets, and working closely with event attendees and corporate sponsors.

“In this newly created position, Paige will be responsible for fundraising events that act as a vital tool to demonstrate not only what JA does, but also why we do it”, said Jennifer Bodensiek, President and CEO of JA of Central Maryland. “This position is key to our fundraising success so we can broaden awareness and support the JA mission. We are excited to have Paige on board.”

Prior to joining the Junior Achievement team, Paige was a second grade teacher at North Glen Elementary where she worked closely with community partners to organize fundraisers and community events. She directed and planned annual blood drives, the UNICEF Tap Project, benefit concerts for the United Nations Children’s Fund, and a 5K race to benefit the PJ Aldridge Lung Cancer Foundation.Paige was also featured in the Washington Post and the Capital Gazette for her initiative in closing the reading gap.

Paige graduated from Salisbury University’s Seidel School of Education and Professional Studies and double majored with a Bachelorof Science: Early Childhood Education and Elementary Education; with a minor in Conflict Analysis and Dispute Resolution.
