Divaris Real Estate, Inc. (DRE) announces the promotion of Gwen Gilbert to the position of Chief Human Resources Officer for the Divaris Group of companies. Gilbert has been an integral part of the company’s growth and success over the past 19 years.

The Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) is responsible for the strategic leadership and day-to-day management of all human resource functions in support of the overall business plan and strategic direction of the company, including: organizational development, employee engagement, strategic planning and talent management, succession planning, compensation and benefits, training and development, employee relations, performance planning and management, workplace diversity, employee recognition, and policy development and enforcement. The CHRO provides strategic leadership, implementing services through human resources staff and assists and advises management, shareholders and board of directors with regards to organizational and human resources issues.

Gilbert has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Resources Administration from St. Leo University and has earned the SHRM-CP and the Professional in Human Resources (PHR) credentials. She is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), and Commercial Real Estate Women, Hampton Roads Chapter (CREW), and is a past president of the Hampton Roads Society for Human Resource Management (HRSHRM).
