DLA Piper is pleased to announce that Ellen Dew, an associate in the firm's Litigation practice, has been named to the Daily Record’s 2018 Leading Women List. The annual list recognizes women 40 years of age and younger for their professional accomplishments, community involvement and commitment to inspiring change.

The honorees will be recognized at a reception on December 3, 2018, at the Westin Annapolis. Dew was selected for her successful global law practice based in Baltimore, her involvement in a number of civic and nonprofit organizations, and her role as the Baltimore delegate for the firm’s women’s initiative, Leadership Alliance for Women (LAW).

In her practice, Dew counsels domestic and international companies in the areas of complex litigation and compliance, risk assessment and corporate investigations. She regularly represents clients in complex civil litigation involving insurance contracts, product liability, securities, corporate governance disputes and ERISA. She has litigated in forums across the country on behalf of clients in a wide range of industries, among them global financial services, pharmaceutical, telecommunications, insurance and hospitality. She has also represented clients in international and domestic arbitrations.
