Rachel is a featured panelist at MAVRIC, where she and other panelists will address “Leveraging XR Technology to Further Social Impact Goals.” Rachel pulls from her recent, award-winning work on “Under the Net,” a VR film by the UN Foundation’s Nothing But Nets campaign to provide insight into how Immersive Media is advancing critical real-world causes. Speakers will highlight the innovation in and application of Immersive Media Technologies across the spectrum of Commercial, Governmental, Educational and Journalistic Endeavors on the East Coast. Attendees include governmental decision-makers, the corporate and independent developers and the researchers pushing the boundaries of the possible AR, VR and MR.
ADWKDC is a one-day event, which focuses on how companies can build relationships with their audience that embodies a brand authentic approach. This year’s conference hosts 250 CMOs, senior marketers, agency professionals and technology executives across the Mid-Atlantic region. At the event, Rachel will moderate a panel discussion on Virtual Reality where speakers from Brightline Interactive, Prevent Human Trafficking, FEMA and the DC Chapter of the VR/AR Association will discuss opportunities and challenges that exist for companies and organizations exploring this immersive technology. Thought-leaders from prestigious companies and media outlets around the nation, including Vox, Ogilvy, Booz Allen, Politico Brunet-Garcia, CNN and Marriott International, among others, will share from their expertise in presentations, workshops and panels.
“VR, AR and MR (XR) are constantly evolving, and professionals across many industries are unaware of its power to usher in real change,” said Rachel Henderson, VP and Head of Virtual and Augmented Reality at Warschawski. “I am honored to share from my experience in both VR/AR and PR at MAVRIC and ADWKDC to help the audiences expand their view of innovative and cutting-edge storytelling methods to drive impact.”
