Divaris Real Estate, Inc. (DRE) announces the completion of eight transactions totaling 37,617 square feet and 38 acres of sold, new and renewed commercial space throughout the greater Hampton Roads market.

Sale Transaction

Michael D. Sifen, Inc. purchased 37.9 acres of land known as Harbour View Parcel 4 located at Harbourview Boulevard and Hampton Roads Parkway in Suffolk, Va, from Harbourview Partners for $4.2 million. David Redmond and Levi Thomson brokered the deal on behalf of the seller. The land is located just north of the Harris Teeter at Harbourview Marketplace.

Lease Transaction

Virginia Choice Mortgage leased 2,500 square feet of office space in the Divaris-leased Lynnhaven Commons Office Complex located at 582 Lynnhaven Parkway in Virginia Beach. Elizabeth Paasch and Elizabeth Napolitano represented the landlord in the lease negotiations.

Gong Cha leased 1,610 square feet of retail space in the Divaris-leased and -managed Salem Crossing Shopping center located at 2029 South Lynnhaven Parkway in Virginia Beach. Kris Fuller and Levi Thomson represented the landlord in the lease negotiations. Salem Crossing is anchored by Wal-Mart and Kroger Training Center with McDonalds, Chick-Fil-A, Taco Bell, and Starbucks on outparcels. Tenants include SkyZone, Cato, Sally's Beauty, and Bangkok Garden.

Lease Renewals

Fortis College renewed its lease for 26,111 square feet of office space in the Divaris-leased and -managed property at 6300 Center Drive in Norfolk. Elizabeth Paasch, Michael Divaris and Jason Oliver represented the landlord in the lease negotiations.

CGI Federal renewed its lease for 2,890 square feet of office space in the Divaris-leased and -managed HRSA-ILA Building located at 1355 International Terminal Boulevard in Norfolk, Va. Chris Bendit represented the landlord in the lease negotiations.

Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services renewed its lease for 1,977 square feet of office space in the Divaris-leased Thurston Avenue property located at 5700 Thurston Avenue in Virginia Beach. Krista Costa and Nicole Campbell represented the landlord in the lease negotiations.

The Law Office of Peter S. Lake, PC renewed its lease for 1,489 square feet of office space in the Divaris-leased Southport Centre located at 4525 South Boulevard in Virginia Beach. Elizabeth Paasch and Chris Bendit represented the landlord in the lease negotiations.

Williams O’Delicious bakery renewed its lease for 1,040 square feet of retail space in the Divaris-leased Todd Shopping Center located at 2124-2330 West Mercury Boulevard in Hampton, Va. Aeri Jai and Mary McGovern represented the landlord in the lease negotiations.
