NEW YORK–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Jadian Capital, an investment firm targeting opportunities in real estate and related assets and companies, today announced that Matt Innes has joined the firm as Managing Director, Investor Relations. In this role, Innes will lead the firm’s marketing and investor relations functions. He will be based in Jadian’s New York office and will report to Jarret Cohen, the firm’s Managing Partner.
“Matt has a strong background not only in capital raising, but as an investor,” noted Cohen. “That’s critical to us since we expect him to be play a large role in the growth of our business as an extension of our investment team.”
Innes comes to Jadian from Hodes Weill & Associates where he was a vice president responsible for institutional investor and adviser relationships across the United States. During his time at Hodes Weill, he also focused on evaluating real estate private fund opportunities and was actively involved in the origination, due diligence, structuring and closing of limited partnership commitments. Previously, Innes was with Building and Land Technology, a Stamford, CT-based real estate owner/operator/developer.
There he was a founding member of the firm’s third-party management group that focused on opportunistic structured, platform and enterprise-level investments. Earlier in his career, Innes was an associate in CBRE’s Institutional Properties Group where he focused on the disposition of office, retail, multifamily and mixed-use properties.
Innes earned his B.A. from Hamilton College.
