Divaris Real Estate, Inc. (DRE) announces the completion of four transactions totaling 19,425 square feet of new and renewed commercial space throughout the Hampton Roads market.

Lease Transaction

M2 Hair Systems leased 840 square feet of retail space in the Divaris-leased and -managed Fairfield Shopping Center 5242 Fairfield Shopping Center in Virginia Beach. Kristopher Fuller and George Fox represented the landlord in the lease negotiations. Fairfield Shopping Center is anchored by Food Lion, with other tenants that include Furniture Mart, T.J. Maxx, Taylor’s Do It Center, Rite Aid, Five Guys Burgers and Fries, Moe’s Southwest Grill, AJ Gator’s Sports Bar & Grill, Becky’s Hallmark Cards and Music & Arts.

Lease Renewals

Good Wood Furniture and Mattress renewed its lease for 16,000 square feet of retail space in the Divaris-leased Todd Shopping Center located at 2124 West Mercury Boulevard in Hampton, Va. Aeri Jai and Mary McGovern represented the landlord in the lease negotiations. Other tenants in Todd Shopping Center include: Big Lots, Office Depot, Northern Tool and Equipment, Grand Furniture, Advance Auto Parts, Lumber Liquidators, Catherine’s, Subway and Patient First.

Monroe Capital Partners renewed its lease for 1,755 square feet of office space in the Divaris-leased and -managed Courthouse Green located at 4097 Ironbound Road in Williamsburg, Va. Karen Beale, SIOR represented the landlord in the lease negotiations.

Shaffer Realty renewed its lease for 830 square feet of office space in the Divaris-leased and -managed Union Bank Building located at 603 Pilot House Drive in Newport News, Va. Karen Beale, SIOR represented the landlord and Krista Costa represented the tenant in the lease negotiations. The real estate title company joins other tenants in the property, including Union Bank, Chesapeake Bay Management and Goldbelt, Inc.
