Divaris Real Estate, Inc. (DRE), announced the completion of seven transactions in the greater Washington, DC metropolitan market, totaling 19,658 square feet of new and renewed commercial space.

Sale Transaction

Dental Solution Sunny Lab Inc. purchased 2,370 square feet of office space located at 901 Russell Avenue in Gaithersburg, Maryland from 901 Russell Ave, LLC for $415,000. Amit Grover represented the seller in the transaction.

Lease Transactions

The International Brotherhood of Teamsters leased 5,071 square feet of office space in Courthouse Tower located at 1515 North Courthouse Road in Arlington, Va. Joe Farina represented the tenant in the lease negotiations.

Bishop’s Cuts and Colors leased 1,374 square feet of retail space located at 1100 Second Place, SE in Washington, DC. Rob Gray represented the tenant in the lease negotiations.

Mi2 Studio leased 900 square feet of retail space in the Divaris-leased Rockville City Centre located at 615 Hungerford Drive in Rockville, Md. Susan McGee and Joe Farina represented the landlord in the lease negotiations. Other tenants in Rockville City Centre include: Popeye’s Louisiana Kitchen, Mama Wok Chinese Restaurant, Atlantic Guns, Bred Corner, Shiraz Market and Dad’s Beer & Wine.

Jesy’s Boutique leased 632 square feet of retail space in the Divaris-leased Sterling Park Shopping Center locates at 325 South Sterling Boulevard in Sterling, Va. Chris Saa and Joe Farina represented the landlord in the lease negotiations. Other tenants in Sterling Park include: McDonald's, CVS, Big Lots, KFC, Family Dollar and Taco Bell.

Lease Renewals

The Greene Turtle renewed its lease for 7,511 square feet of retail space in the Divaris-leased and managed Stone House Square Shopping Center located at 1218 Shank Farm Way in Hagerstown, Md. Susan McGee represented the landlord in the lease negotiations. Other tenants in the shopping center include: Weis Supermarket, Lowe’s Home Improvement, Massage Envy, Capitol One Bank, Tiger Rock Martial Arts and Subway.

Sterner’s Tae Kown Do Academy renewed its lease for 1,800 square feet of retail space in the Divaris-leased Old Ashburn Square Shopping Center located at 20630 Ashburn Road in Ashburn, Va. Susan McGee represented the landlord in the lease negotiations. Other tenants in the shopping center include: Vocelli’s, Cook 365, T-Mobile, Studio Bleu and the School of Rock.
