Brenda Frese: Terps Have 'Tremendous Amount Of Confidence' Heading Into Postseason

3/7/19

The Maryland women's basketball team recently clinched its fourth Big Ten regular-season title in five years and will be looking to put an exclamation mark on what's been an already exciting season in the weeks ahead.

Maryland heads into the Big Ten tournament as the No. 1 seed and will play its first first game in the quarterfinals against Michigan State March 8. After that, the Terps will aim to bring home their first national championship since 2006. Maryland is projected to be a No. 3 seed in the NCAA Tournament by ESPN.
Without a clear favorite, like in years past with Connecticut or Tennessee, the field appears to be wide open this year.
