The Maryland football team capped its spring practice schedule April 27 with the annual spring game at Maryland Stadium. Team Red defeated Team White, 28-17.
At practice April 23, head coach Mike Locksley said he had two goals in mind going into the game: staying healthy and making the game competitive.
Locksley said the first goal was successful as far as he knew, aside from a few bumps and bruises. The second goal was certainly achieved, as both offenses drove up and down the field, converting a combined five of five red-zone chances on the day.
