Donald Gundlach Named Board Chairman At Point Breeze Credit Union

Donald M. Gundlach has been named Chairman of the Board of Directors at Point Breeze Credit Union.

Gundlach succeeds Michael J. Gallagher, who has served on the Point Breeze Board for 31 years, including the past 16 years as Chairman. Gallagher, who is retired from AT&T Network Systems, will remain on the Board of Directors as Vice Chairman.

Gundlach has been a member of Point Breeze Credit Union since 1972 and joined the Board of Directors in 2015. He was elected Vice Chairman in 2016. Previously, Gundlach served on the Supervisory Committee of Point Breeze Credit Union for nine years.

In addition to his service at Point Breeze, Gundlach currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Hunt Meadow Community Association, the Patapsco Boating and Social Association and the Cockeysville Optimist Club. He also volunteers his time as a tax aide for AARP, helping to prepare tax returns for senior citizens in Baltimore County.

A graduate of The Johns Hopkins University, Gundlach retired from Lucent Technologies after serving as an engineering manager in the company’s Fiber Optic Transmission Communications Division.
