The Traffic Group’s Joe Caloggero Appointed to the Humane Society of Harford County Board

Joe Caloggero, P.E., PTOE, PTP, Vice President at The Traffic Group, Inc. (TTG) – one of the nation’s leading SDVOSB traffic engineering and transportation planning firms – has been appointed to the Humane Society of Harford County’s Board of Directors.

"We couldn't be happier to have Joe join the board," said Jen Swanson, executive director of the Humane Society of Harford County. "Not only is Joe an animal lover, but he also brings a wealth of business acumen to help lead the shelter forward."

Caloggero has more than 30 years of both technical and academic experience in the field of traffic engineering and transportation planning. As Vice President within the firm’s traffic engineering division, his responsibilities include various traffic engineering and management tasks in the areas of traffic impact analysis, traffic safety studies, and transportation planning. He has managed approximately 500 traffic engineering and transportation planning studies with over 200 conducted in Frederick County over the past 15 years.

In addition to the Humane Society of Harford County, he also participates in other charitable organizations, such as The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Harford Family House, and The Society of Italian American Businessmen, as well as numerous others that provide students with financial assistance in the form of scholarships.

Caloggero graduated from West Virginia University with Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. He currently resides in Forest Hill, Maryland.
