John Owendoff
Cushman & Wakefield, a leading global commercial real estate firm, announced today that it has added John Owendoff to the firm’s Washington, DC Metro Region Capital Markets team as managing director, where he will be responsible for building and leading the company’s retail investment sales practice throughout the region.

Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield, Owendoff served as managing director at HFF, where he facilitated retail and mixed-use investment sales and capitalizations worth more than $3 billion. Before that, he was senior director at Cushman & Wakefield for seven years. Prior to working in commercial real estate, Owendoff spent six years as a consultant providing advisory services to numerous Fortune 500 clients.

Owendoff received a master’s degree in business administration from Duke University as well as a bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia. He is also a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers.
