This Week in Jobs: Skiing-Math-Cooking Edition

Squad, this one’s on us. We should have never withheld from you this job listing seeking a “Household manager/cook/nanny” (which we urge you to read in full).

As a part of the tech community, you probably excel at helping with math homework and “strategically thinking through vacation options” with spreadsheets. We may not know how well you garden, or whether you can cook for a family that “eats organic,” or if you can “ski at an intermediate level,” “do calisthenics with the kids” and speak multiple languages. But we can guess — from your experience watching Game of Thrones and The Witcher, or simply navigating today’s open-office-plans — you can probably reliably “build alliances with other kids’ parents and nannies” pretty darn well.

Next time, we will do better and include all of the many ways you can make use of your hard-earned degree — although, if you truly can do all that plus drive in the snow, drive “in other countries,” and you’re “strong, athletic, [and] high energy,” the Central Intelligence Agency may also want to talk with you.
