Paul Clary
The Maryland Free Enterprise Foundation (Maryland Free), a statewide, non-partisan, pro-business/pro-jobs organization, has named Paul Clary, Co-Founder of Maryland Energy Advisors, Secretary of its board of directors.
A young entrepreneur from Prince George’s County, Clary graduated with a Business Administration degree from Morgan State University. His profound interest and research on economic matters ultimately resulted in a self-created internship at the Baltimore Development Corporation. Soon thereafter, that experience transitioned into a permanent job as Economic Development Officer at the BDC before venturing out on his own to found Maryland Energy Advisors with his two partners.
The nearly ten-year-old company serves residential and business clients in 16 states, spanning the United States. Touting a client list topped by prominent developers and property owners in Maryland, including Merritt Companies and St. John’s Properties, has provided Maryland Energy Advisors with the fire power necessary to become a preeminent energy provider in the country.
Clary is recognized for his strong support of a free enterprise system and was an obvious choice to add to the leadership team of the 36-year-old Maryland Free. “Paul provides tremendous strength in leadership and perspective on growth initiatives, while adding to our organization in a very understated and approachable way.,” said Maryland Free President, Duane Carey. “We are extremely fortunate to have his talents available as we grow Maryland Free into the next decade.”
