Catie Hargrove and Paul D’Agati
SHIFT, a Baltimore headquartered consulting, executive membership, and venture capital company, announced today they have welcomed Catie Hargrove and Paul D’Agati as principal consultants. They collectively bring more than 40 years of diverse leadership and management experience to the consulting team.
As principal consultants, Hargrove and D’Agati will lead the team to help clients tackle their most pressing issues around strategy, leadership, culture, innovation and driving high performance.
Hargrove has nearly 20 years of leadership experience in public, private and nonprofit sectors with a focus on employee engagement, leadership strategy, organizational design, talent development and employee value proposition.
Prior to SHIFT, Hargrove served in management consulting and senior leadership roles at Axiom Consulting Partners, Booz Allen Hamilton, The Partnership for Public Service and SAIC. She also spent time as a nonprofit executive, developing curriculums for adoptive parents, social workers and mental health professionals working with children and families in the foster care system.
Hargrove earned her master’s degree in Industrial Organizational Psychology from Capella University, and a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from James Madison University. She is an executive leadership coach and earned her certification in Leadership Coaching from Georgetown University.
For 25 years, D’Agati has dedicated his career to the public-health and healthcare delivery fields supporting clinical teams. His work centered on developing strategies with health care leaders that translated into positive population health outcomes. Before joining SHIFT, he was a scientific engagement and medical affairs associate director for Merck Vaccines, and a sales team manager for Aetna.
D’Agati holds a master’s in Healthcare Administration, an MBA from the University of Maryland Global Campus, and a bachelor’s degree in History/Education from West Chester University. He also earned certifications in Quality Improvement and Metric Models from the Institute for Health Improvement, and a certification in Practical Improvement Science from HarvardX.
