John Hermann, Corporate Office Properties Trust; Ty James, Corporate Office Properties Trust; James Knott, Knott Realty Group and Jim Lighthizer, Chesapeake Real Estate Group were among the more than 150 commercial real estate professionals that attended the members-only event. The 32-floor structure, recognized as the tallest pentagonal-shaped building in the world, opened in 1977. Constructed lasted four years and cost $22 million. 


Jim Lighthizer (far right), President of NAIOP Maryland provided an overview of the Chapter to event attendees. "I have been associated with NAIOP Maryland for more than 25 years and the Chapter has played a significant role in the success of my business and career. It can do the same for you, but only if you become deeply involved. I encourage everyone to volunteer their time and give back to an industry that has provided so much for us."
