Fonteva is excited to announce that it has been acquired by Togetherwork, the leader in integrated software and payments for managing communities, groups and organizations.
Having spent the last 10 years putting customers first and building Fonteva into a ‘forever home’ for them, Fonteva CEO Jerry Huskins believes Togetherwork is the right choice for the company he and Paul Lundy co-founded.
“I’ve always wanted to find the perfect ‘Forever Home’ for Fonteva, and I’m delighted in having found that in Togetherwork. I first met (Togetherwork CEO) Neil (Platt) and his team three years ago, and I’ve come to be impressed with how they help companies they acquire grow and flourish all while keeping true to their mission. The combination of Togetherwork’s resources and product capabilities, particularly in payments, will be a huge win for our customers, our partners, and our employees.”
Fonteva will operate as a business unit within Togetherwork, led by Fonteva Chief Revenue Officer Pat McGlynn, who has been named President of Fonteva. Following a planned transition period, Fonteva CEO and Co-founder Jerry Huskins will leave the company later in 2021. The majority of senior management and staff have been retained and Fonteva will continue to be based and operate out of our headquarters in Arlington, VA.
As part of Togetherwork, Fonteva expects to realize savings and efficiencies that will allow us to focus on the things we do best and bring the most value to our customers. Additionally, Togetherwork’s existing portfolio of offerings includes advanced payment offerings which will allow our customers to transact more efficiently with modern features, move across all geographies, and ensure SCA compliance throughout the world.
“I’m really thrilled to have Fonteva in the Togetherwork family,” said Togetherwork CEO Neil Platt. “The team there has built an incredible business – a true market leader in association and events management. As Togetherwork’s first major acquisition of a company built on Salesforce, it gives us a whole new range of expansion opportunities in all the markets we serve. I’m excited to work with Pat and all the Fontevans to continue to build on the success they have had to date.”
We are excited to begin this new chapter in the history of Fonteva, but remain committed to our mission to enable the success of our customers.
