The Washington Justice is extending its partnership with PenFed Credit Union for at least the next three years beginning with the 2021 season.
D.C.’s professional Overwatch League esports team first partnered with the McLean, Virginia-based national federal credit union for its 2020 season. PenFed was the presenting partner for the season, and worked with the Washington Justice on some interactive experiences during in-person events last year before the coronavirus pandemic hit. Even as the Washington Justice continued playing from a closed practice facility last year, PenFed continued to support the team through virtual experiences.
Through this new extended partnership, PenFed will be an official jersey patch partner of the Washington Justice, and the credit union is even launching a first of its kind team-branded credit card for its members who are esports fans. PenFed members will also get some perks like discounts on Washington Justice merch, behind-the-scenes content and digital loot boxes. The pair will also be working on some social media campaigns throughout this year’s season.
