The U.S. Air Force awarded McLean-based defense contractor Alion Science and Technology Corp. an $89 million task order to provide engineering, research and development and test and evaluation services, the company announced Friday.
Under the task order, Alion will focus on software and data integration, coordination, knowledge management and information sharing of systems and subsystems for military sensing.
